You never know when and where you will meet new friends. On the way home from speaking to the students at First Presbyterian Christian Academy, Patty and I arrived at The Olive Branch Christian Bookstore in Dublin, GA. Although we were running a tad bit late for our 11:00 a.m. signing event, owners Ken and Jewel Flanders had everything set up and waiting for us. When we arrived, we were wowed by the warm and friendly atmosphere of the bookstore. Employees Moy, Bernice, and Linda treated us like family. Every time someone walked through the front door, they were quick to greet them and point them in our direction. It truly was a collaborative effort. And though the signing event was scheduled to end at 3 p.m., we stayed an additional hour because people kept coming in. It was one of those red letter weekends that we hope to repeat.
If you are ever in Dublin, Ga please stop in at The Olive Branch Christian Bookstore and say hello to our newest friends. Who knows, you too might discover you have more friends than you think.
